Chuck is investigating about his father and trying to discover what he did in his spare time. Vanessa is caught by Nate flirting with another guy, and turns to Blair to help him out. Dan ignores Serena’s calls and tells Miss Carr that their relationship is beyond complicated between the two of them at that stage. Miss Carr does not take her job back and ends up spending time in her empty apartment with her new fling, who still seems to be sad from a recent break up. Also Rufus and Lily begin to ask themselves if their relationship is working and where is it going. They talk casually about moving into the same house, however Chuck is against this, and tries to stop it whatever way he can.
